I have always had a strong passion for fashion, particularly for accessories that are bold and eye-catching. This interest was an integral part of my life journey, which included navigating through various career paths before finding my calling. Following uncertain times during college when I contemplated studying music, cosmetology, or education, I ultimately pursued a degree in Merchandising of Textiles, Apparel, & Furnishings with a Business minor.

My professional journey has seen me embark on diverse experiences, from internships at Nordstrom to managing a store as part of the Retail Management Program at Buckle. After years of traveling and managing my own store, the time came to transition into a new chapter focused on family. Shifting gears, I ventured into the field of insurance before exploring different job opportunities post-divorce.

Despite the challenges and changes, 2016 marked a period of personal growth and introspection. It was during this transformative year that I met someone unexpectedly, who played a significant role in reshaping my perspective and pushing me towards my dreams. Encouraged by this newfound support and belief in myself, I decided to take a leap of faith into entrepreneurship.

Today, as I reflect on my journey, I find myself grateful for the unwavering support of my husband Austin and our growing family. Our life in Guthrie Center, Iowa is a fulfilling combination of family, work, and community engagement. With Austin pursuing his career in Guthrie County alongside his brothers' livestock operation, and our sons thriving in school at ACGC Guthrie Center, we cherish each moment together.

Recently transitioning from a corporate role at State Farm to focus on Pearls & Lace, my venture into entrepreneurship has allowed me to align my professional ambitions with my personal priorities. As our family continues to expand—with the joyful addition of our son Corbitt—every day presents new challenges and blessings that we embrace wholeheartedly with our 'Mom.Wife.Boss' ethos.
